Gold Leaf: The gold leaf we use is top quality italien imitation gold leaf - it's a metal leaf and not real gold. This is the most durable solution and the wallpaper comes varnished, it is sealed for protection and can be handled carefully for the installation. The varnish is also protecting against tarnishing.

Tonka Papers creates hand painted wallpaper made in our small studio in Copenhagen, Denmark. We merge art and interior design to help you add something truly unique to your home - removable murals made of fabric decals.
Every design consists of several layers of paint giving the wall art depth and texture. We created this as an affordable and smart alternative to printed wallpaper and wall stickers - no plastic or mass production!
We made the installation process a dream, a perfectly well designed DIY project. Every wall sticker is cut out, so you can try out different installation options using the included tack-packs.
This wall art is flexible, unique and practical. The surface is sturdy, can be washed with a damp cloth and the wall stickers can be reused over and over again. If moved around a number of times, if the wall decal collected dust on self-adhesive back, simply add some water-soluble glue like school glue.
TIP:
Install on dark surfaces to make them pop or light surfaces for a more subtle look.
Works great on ceilings and furniture such as wardrobe doors.
Are you going to move or paint the walls later? Store on baking tray paper in a box and reuse later.

Setup
Easily installed as a wall sticker on all smooth surfaces. Leaves no trace. NOTE: Does not adhere to textured surfaces and wallpaper.
Material
Hand-painted, self-adhesive and cut-out textile wallpaper. The hand-painted products are painted freely by hand and each one is unique. There may therefore be slight color differences from the images shown and between productions.
Decorations with gold leaf are shipped after 7 business days. Returns 30 days.

FAQ
Can they be installed on textured walls?
You can install our wall art on a light texture without deep holes. Sand filler and glass fabric are not optimal to install on, as they create too many air holes under the wall sticker. See examples of different surfaces here .
What will it look like for me?

Can it be moved?
Yes, it can. It is best to move it as little as possible, as the glue will collect dust from the surface. That is why tack packs are included so you can experiment until you find the perfect hanging position. However, you can easily move the decorations during installation, as the glue works optimally after 48 hours. If you want to move them later, they can in most cases be easily moved and still stick to the new location. If the back has collected too much dust to adhere optimally, just add a little water-soluble glue, such as wallpaper glue or school glue, and you can reuse your wall art again and again.
