Removing the mural
♻️ How to reposition and store your wall decoration – easily and safely
Did you know that you can store your self-adhesive wall decoration between moves on baking paper ?
The baking paper protects the self-adhesive backing from dust and dirt, so it stays ready for use - even after prolonged storage.
Long durability with self-adhesive textile wallpaper
Our removable murals are made of self-adhesive textile wallpaper – a flexible and durable material that acts like small pieces of canvas.
The designs are painted with robust acrylic paint , which gives a beautiful, durable surface. You can even wipe them with a damp cloth if they get dusty or have small stains.
How to re-install wall decoration
Has your wall decoration lost some of its adhesive strength after several moves? Or do you need to put it on the wall in a new home? Follow these simple steps:
- Place the wall decoration with the back side facing up.
- Apply a thin layer of wallpaper glue or a water-soluble glue (e.g. school glue)
- Place it on the desired wall and smooth from the center outwards.
💡 Even if you use glue, the decoration can still be easily removed without damaging the wall or motif, if the surface you install it on is not porous or fragile
Storage tips between moves
- Place the decoration on baking paper (back side facing the paper).
- Store it flat or roll it up carefully without creating air pockets.
- Keep it dry and away from direct sunlight.
