Shipping

  • Production 1-3 business days. In busy periods it can take up to 5 business days.
  • You will receive a link with a tracking number.
  • Delivery time after dispatch: Denmark 1-2 business days, EU 4-7 business days, Norway 3-5 business days, UK and Switzerland 5-8 business days, USA and Canada 6-10 business days, Australia 7-12 business days, New Zealand 8-15 business days.
  • Shipping within Denmark costs 39 DKK (approx. $6) for orders under 399 DKK (approx. $62).
  • Orders over 399 DKK (approx. $62) ship free to a parcel shop in Denmark.
  • Shipping to the EU, UK, Switzerland, Norway, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand costs 75 DKK (approx. $12).
  • We currently ship to Denmark, the UK, Switzerland, the European Union, Norway, the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. You can see the shipping price at checkout or find all prices here.
  • If you can't order to your address in our webshop, please email us at info@tonkapapers.com to place your order and get a shipping quote.

Customs, VAT and import duties

Orders within the EU
Danish VAT is included in the price, and there are no extra customs or import duties on delivery.

Orders to the UK
We have paid the UK VAT, and it is included in the price. There are no extra charges on delivery.

Orders to Switzerland
There is nothing extra to pay when you receive your package. Smaller orders are sent with PostNord/Swiss Post and fall below the Swiss VAT threshold, so no VAT or fees are charged. Larger orders are sent with UPS, and we have prepaid customs duties and VAT.

Orders to the USA
We have paid customs, VAT, tariffs and fees, so there is nothing extra to pay when you receive your package.

Orders to Norway
Please note that you pay the local Norwegian VAT (MVA) and Posten Norge's customs handling fee when the package arrives in Norway.

Orders to other countries outside the EU
If you order to another country outside the EU, your order may be subject to local customs, import or VAT fees, collected by the local authorities when the package arrives.

  • Any extra fees, duties and local taxes are paid by the recipient.
  • Customs processing may extend the total delivery time, which is beyond our control.

If you have questions about customs and taxes in your country, just write to us and we will look into whether there will be any duties on your purchase. For many smaller purchases there are no extra costs.
